I'm Steve Harrowfield, originally from my native New Zealand and now proudly based in Singapore.
Teaching English has given me the opportunity to connect with people from many different backgrounds, and I believe that language is about much more than learning words and grammar. It's about building confidence, creating meaningful connections, and communicating with purpose.
At Kōrero English, every lesson is personalised to your individual goals. The name Kōrero is a Māori word meaning to speak, converse, or communicate. It reflects my New Zealand roots and the heart of my teaching philosophy—that every conversation is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.
