Kia ora, hello! I'm Steve Harrowfield, founder of Kōrero English. Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, I now proudly call Singapore home. Teaching English has given me the opportunity to connect with people from many different backgrounds. I believe that learning English is about much more than grammar and vocabulary - it's about building confidence, creating meaningful connections, and communicating with purpose. At Kōrero English, every lesson is personalised to your individual goals. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, develop your Business English, or prepare for an English exam, I provide a supportive and encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace and gain the confidence to use English in real-life situations. The name Kōrero reflects my New Zealand heritage and the values at the heart of my teaching philosophy—that every conversation is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.
